We have many rural partners who share a common challenge of locating instructors to teach professional courses. Daytime courses especially can be extremely challenging to find instructors.
Russell County Career & Technology Center, located in the Blue Ridge Mountains of Virginia, is a prime example. The instructor hired to teach the Medical Billing and Coding Specialist course quit just two weeks into teaching a course.

This course takes place Monday, Wednesday, and Friday during the day. We offer hands-on activities, quizzes, homework, and all preparation for the AMCA exam as a Medical Billing and Coding Specialist.
